Founded by the innovative local hospitality alumni and directors of Tiny Island Hospitality - Rohan Massie, Khayla Massie and Campbell Nicol - Hospitality Distilled is the culmination of over 50 years of combined experience in the industry. This team has passionately crafted unforgettable venues, products and event experiences that not only highlight the best of what the hospitality industry has to offer, but also champion local producers and elevate the talents of emerging bar professionals.


As the training and education arm of Tiny Island Hospitality Pty Ltd, Hospitality Distilled is dedicated to passing down knowledge to the next generation. With a focus on fostering growth and nurturing young talent, these programs aim to inspire and shape the future of hospitality in Tasmania.

MEET YOUR EDUCATOR

Spirits, Cocktails & Hospitality Education

 

With 23 years of experience in the hospitality industry, Rohan Massie has built an impressive career spanning across bars, restaurants, and spirit production.

​

Rohan is co-owner in award winning cocktail bar Rude Boy Hobart and event and cocktail distillery Punch & Ladle.

​

For the past decade, he has dedicated himself to running his businesses, with a particular focus over the last 3 years on diving into the exciting world of spirits production.

​

Having studied WSET Level 2 in Wines, Levels 1, 2, and 3 in Spirits, and Educator Training Program Level 1 and 2 - Rohan is now a highly qualified educator and expert in the field.

​

Currently, Rohan is further honing his teaching skills by also working with VXT and TasTAFE facilitating Spirit, Cocktail and Bar Operational courses to those engaging in furthering their skills and careers in the Tasmanian Hospitality Industry.
